UGW Beta Test

The UGW beta has officially begun, with servers running every Tuesday and Friday from 3 PM to 12 AM. The last two playtests, held on these days, focused on improving gameplay, enhancing graphics and textures, adding a new duo mode, and ensuring compatibility with new devices. Assassin’s Creed Shadows New Details

Ubisoft has unveiled the new mechanics for Assassin’s Creed Shadows. The Eagle Companion has been removed and replaced with the addition of Observe and Eagle Vision. With Observe Vision, players can identify targets, tag enemies, and highlight lootable items, collectibles, and quest objectives. Eagle Vision also allows players to see enemies through walls.

Additionally, movement mechanics have been updated—players can now hide in shadows, crouch, and go prone. Crouching and going prone will reduce both visibility and sound. Noah will also have access to primary tools such as Smoke Bombs, Shinobi Belts, Kunai, and Shuriken. It seems like the game is bringing back some classic Assassin’s Creed vibes, but you’ll have to play to experience it for yourself.

Clash Mini Merged in Clash Royale

Supercell has announced that Clash Mini will be integrated into Clash Royale following its shutdown in June next year. This move is part of Supercell’s new strategy to transform Clash Royale into a broader strategy gaming platform, with Clash Mini being added as a new game mode.

Final Fantasy 15 Mobile Trailer Revealed

The reveal trailer for Final Fantasy XV Mobile has been released. Developed by Tencent’s Lightspeed Studios and Square Enix, the game will take place in the immersive world of Eorzea, featuring over 600 weather patterns. It will offer 9 unique jobs, with players able to use the Armory system to explore different roles.

Like the original, the game will deliver thrilling combat and an engaging story. The playtest will begin in China before the game is rolled out globally.

Squid Game: Unleashed Release Date

Square Game Unleashed, a multiplayer battle royale game based on Square Game, has been released. The game will launch globally on December 17 and will be available exclusively on Netflix.

In the game, players will face deadly challenges inspired by iconic games from the series, such as Red Light, Green Light, Clash Bridge, and Stick to the Team. Additionally, there will be new challenges inspired by classic childhood activities.

The game will feature matches with 32 players. Pre-registrations are now open, and players who pre-register will receive exclusive skins.

Big Update for Xbox Cloud

The Xbox Cloud Gaming Hub allows Game Pass Ultimate members to stream selected games on various devices. Now, you can stream 50 titles, including Baldur’s Gate 3, Cyberpunk 2077, and Hogwarts Legacy, on supported devices. You can stream games you’ve purchased from the eligible titles, regardless of whether they are part of Game Pass.

This feature is available on Samsung Smart TVs, Amazon Fire TV devices, Meta Quest, and any browser-supported device, including PCs and smartphones.

Although this feature has been in development since 2019, delays occurred due to infrastructure challenges. However, Game Pass Ultimate members can now stream their own games and enjoy them on any compatible device. This update makes Xbox Cloud Gaming even more flexible and accessible, allowing players to stream their favorite games without any extra cost.

FIFA Rivals Announced for Mobile

Mythical Games has announced FIFA Rivals, an official FIFA-licensed arcade football game set to launch on Android and iOS in the summer of 2025.

The game will feature fast-paced gameplay and real-time PvP matches, allowing players to build and manage their teams with real-life footballers. Additionally, player trading will be enabled through blockchain-based Web3 integration.

Indus New Update

A new update for Indus has been released, featuring visual upgrades to enhance the gaming experience. New buildings and structures have also been introduced, while player ranks have been reset.

To recalibrate their rank, players will need to play 10 matches. Ranked match times have been set from 10 AM to 10 PM. Minecraft Coming to Real World

Merlin Entertainment, the world’s second-largest theme park operator after Disney, has signed a $110 million deal with Mojang Studios. This agreement will bring Minecraft’s virtual experience into the real world.

The attractions are set to open in the US and UK in 2026 and 2027, either as part of Merlin’s existing theme parks or in new locations. Minecraft-themed structures, details, and food and beverage options will be included.

Cailin Walters, VP of Microsoft Gaming, commented, “Minecraft is digital everywhere, and Merlin is physical everywhere, so this experience will be exciting for Minecraft fans.”

GTA 6 Won An Award Before Release

GTA 6 won the Most Wanted Game award at the 42nd Golden Joystick Awards, where Black Myth: Wukong took home the Ultimate Game of the Year title, and Helldivers 2 and Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth each won four awards.

GTA 6 earned the Most Wanted Game award due to its high anticipation, and surprisingly, a Rockstar developer, David Manley, was present to accept the award. He mentioned that mind-blowing things are being planned for GTA 6 and praised the team’s amazing work. Manley thanked the fans and promised more surprises ahead.

Now, all eyes are on the second trailer. Although no one knows when it will drop, many are hopeful for the upcoming Game Awards, where GTA 6 has also been nominated for Most Anticipated Game, a category it is likely to win. Warframe Mobile Registration Started for Android

Warframe Mobile is now available for global pre-registration on Android, offering players a Cumulus Collection for signing up.

This third-person shooter action game is set in a dynamic and ever-evolving sci-fi universe. It features over 50 Warframes, each with unique abilities. Warframe Mobile also includes optional cross-platform save and cross-platform play, allowing players to continue their progress across different platforms.

The game’s content will align with the PC version, including the upcoming Warframe 1999 update.

Assassin’s Creed Syndicate Performance Boosted

The Assassin’s Creed Syndicate 4K 60FPS update is now available. This update enhances the resolution and performance on PS5, PS5 Pro, and Xbox Series X.

With this update, the game will run at 4K resolution and 60FPS on both PS5 and Xbox Series X. The Xbox Series S also has a 60FPS mode, but at 1080p resolution. Both PS5 versions will feature 60FPS at 4K resolution.

As for the update size, the PS5 update is 750MB.

Good News for Control Fans

Remedy Entertainment has exciting news for Control fans. A free update will be released in early 2025, unlocking previously released content. This update is expected to include content from the Control Pre-Order and Deluxe Editions.

Additionally, Control Ultimate Edition will launch for Mac on February 12, 2025. Remedy has also confirmed that Control 2 will be an action RPG, with gameplay that will differ slightly from the action-focused style of the original.

Splinter Cell Movie Cancelled

Ubisoft has officially announced that the Splinter Cell movie has been cancelled. The movie was first announced in 2012, with Tom Hardy set to play the role of Sam Fisher. However, producer Basil revealed that the cancellation was due to script and budget issues.

He mentioned that multiple versions were attempted, but none were deemed right, leading to the decision to cancel the project. Despite this, Ubisoft is still working on other TV and movie adaptations, including Splinter Cell: Death Watch, an animated series currently in development for release on Netflix.

No PS5 Pro Upgrade For Cyberpunk 2077
