New Zombies Mode in GTA Online

“In GTA Online, a new zombie mode has been introduced called ‘Ludendorff’ and ‘Cemetery Survivor.’ In this mode, players fight against waves of zombies in North Yankton, and 1.2 million people have participated. This mode is similar to Red Dead’s Undead Nightmare DLC, where players must use weapons and power-ups to survive against the undead. Its popularity has skyrocketed, and GTA Online fans really enjoy it. I think this mode should have been launched much earlier!”

Plants VS Zombies 3 Shut Down

“PopCap Games, a subsidiary of Electronic Arts, has removed Plants vs. Zombies 3 from the App Store. The game was in soft launch since January 2024, and it has now been taken down from both the Google Play Store and the App Store. After November 15, the servers will also shut down, and the game will be relaunched after a major overhaul. The developers have stated that players who have linked their accounts will retain their earned and purchased coin balances, but boosts, game progress, and narrative elements will be reset.”

“Finally, Bohemia Interactive has revealed Armor 4 during their 25th anniversary celebration. The new game is set to be released in 2027, which means fans will have to wait quite a while. What can we do, though? They’ll just have to be patient!”

However, there are several issues with the game, and work is ongoing on a review video.”

Indiana Jones The Great Circle Testing

“In 5-in-1 news, the hands-on preview for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is set to take place at the end of this month. Microsoft and Bethesda are hosting events for media and content creators. Bandai Namco has begun laying off some employees and is also canceling and pausing several games due to a lack of demand for their products. The company has canceled major projects like Tales of the Days and Blue Protocol as part of its efforts to control costs.

Additionally, the second pre-alpha test for Project Rise will start on November 1, and this playtest will be available only for iOS devices. The test will last for just one day, giving players the opportunity to try out new gameplay mechanics and meta features.”

Lara Croft Anime On Netflix

On a different note, Netflix’s new show, Tomb Raider and The Legend of Lara Croft, has achieved the franchise’s best Rotten Tomatoes score, with critics giving the animated series a rating of 67%. The series follows Lara Croft on her adventures, with Hayley Atwell voicing the character. If you’ve seen it, let me know what you thought!”

As a result, the series could be delayed by nearly three years.

Game Announcement in Xbox Partner Preview Event

“On October 10, Xbox hosted its Partner Preview event, showcasing several new game trailers and making various announcements. The gameplay for Alan Wake 2’s The Lake House expansion was revealed, which will be available starting October 22. A trailer for Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii was showcased, featuring gameplay footage. The trailer for Blind Fire was also released, along with early access for Xbox Series X/S and PC.

Additionally, announcements were made for Animalville and Wheeled World, and Phasmophobia was announced for consoles. The first teaser for Subnautica 2 was revealed, with early access expected in 2025.”

Steam Warning On Buying Games

“Steam has introduced a new update that clearly states that when you purchase a game, you are actually buying a license for that game, meaning you technically do not own the game itself; you only own the right to use it. This update follows new regulations in California that require digital storefronts to provide clear information about this. So now, whenever you buy a game on Steam, it serves as a good reminder that when you purchase online games, if a company decides to stop supporting a game, it can be removed from your library.”

Spider-Man 2 PC Release Date

“You might remember that Sony recently started taking action against those selling unofficial PC copies of Spider-Man 2, which hinted that they might announce a PC version soon. And yes, that has happened! The game will be released for PC on January 30 next year. However, Insomniac has also confirmed that there will be no additional story content for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, such as a rumored Venom DLC. This is quite disappointing news because everyone was waiting for it.

Initially, there were plans for DLC for Spider-Man 2 when the leaks surfaced, but now it seems nothing will come out. Perhaps the leak caused this cancellation, or maybe there are other reasons; we don’t know. But it’s clear that Sony’s PS5 generation feels quite dry. The release of Spider-Man 2 on PC is good news for PC players, but think about it—this game just came out on PS5, and it’s already arriving on PC so soon. It really shows how few games there are on Kirin right now!”

GTA 6 Rival Big News

“You must have heard about Mind’s Eye, an action-adventure game being developed by Leslie Benzies, the producer of GTA-X. This game has now diverged from Everywhere, and there’s big news: they’ve partnered with IO Interactive, the developers of Hitman, who will now be publishing the game. According to them, Mind’s Eye is a AAA story-driven action-adventure thriller set in a futuristic America, featuring AI, political corruption, espionage, military combat, and plenty of cinematics.

The main character is Jacob Diaz, who has a mysterious neural implant and experiences memory loss and flashbacks. The narrative is described as mind-bending, where players will attempt to understand the past of a low-tier character. It sounds quite interesting, but obviously, there hasn’t been any gameplay trailer released yet, so only time will tell how it turns out. Hopefully, it will come out before GTA 6!”

Valorant Clone For Mobile Shutdown

“Netease is set to shut down its 5v5 shooter game Operation Apocalypse on December 12. The game was launched in China on August 30, 2024. Originally named Hyperfront, it was quite similar to Valorant, which led to a lawsuit from Riot. As a result, they had to pull the game back, change the name, and make some adjustments before relaunching it. However, the game has not been able to meet expected performance levels, leading Netease to decide to permanently shut it down.”

Destiny Mobile Game Confirmed

“A mobile game for Destiny has been confirmed, and Netease Games has announced a closed alpha test for Destiny Rising, scheduled for November 1. This test will be available only to players in the USA and Canada, meaning Indian players won’t be able to participate. However, it may reveal more details about the game. Destiny Rising is a free-to-play sci-fi RPG shooter set in the Destiny universe. It will feature PvE and PvP modes, open-world maps, and a variety of unique characters.”

BGMI And Venom The Last Dance Collaboration

“The collaboration event between BGMI and Venom: The Last Dance is now live. This collaboration has introduced new features and abilities. Specific locations on the map, such as the back houses in Pochinki, have symbiote spots where players can find Venom-themed warhorses. These warhorses provide unique abilities like throwing, attacking, and jumping. Players can use these abilities for high jumps and dashes as well.”

Deepika Padukone in BGMI

“When Deepika Padukone was announced as the brand ambassador for Craft and India, it was revealed that her avatars would also be coming to the game. Now, on October 17, this collaboration has launched, featuring two different avatars of Deepika, glamorous outfits, weapon skins, and vehicle cosmetics. However, I feel that the character model doesn’t really resemble Deepika.

Indus Controversy

“There has also been a major controversy regarding Indus. YouTuber Zassar received copyright strikes on three of his videos, which were taken down by Super Gaming. This led to significant backlash, with accusations of suppressing opinions. In response, Super Gaming released a statement saying they are 100% open to feedback, but the removed videos contained hate speech and pornographic material. Zassar apologized and clarified that he had indeed used excessive profanity during a live stream and reacted to some memes made by others. However, he stated that YouTube had removed that live stream due to a community guidelines strike, so he believed there was nothing wrong with the three videos that Super Gaming struck down.

Afterward, Zassar uploaded a video on his channel where he apologized to the team and mentioned that he was feeling quite depressed, stating that he is just a 19-20-year-old boy who can’t fight against an FIR and was even contemplating taking extreme steps. Super Gaming’s CEO, Robbie John, commented on this video, which was removed after some time. However, the next day, Zassar released another video where he apologized again to the team and advised the CEO to provide only constructive feedback for the game.

Shortly after, Super Gaming made an important announcement stating that they have withdrawn the FIR because a creator understood the trauma faced by the team and committed not to post abusive or pornographic content again. They also reiterated that they are still 100% open to feedback. It seems that this controversy may be coming to an end.”
